The last rose in our garden still bright red. It snowed all night and now it’s a beautiful frozen red beacon in an otherwise white garden. M
I guess that very little can compete with the exciting sensation of trudging through deep snow – if you are a six year old! This was taken in 2009 – the big freeze here in the UK. More snow fell last year and we have already received a sprinkling this winter. Our lane resembles an ice rink and the lake has frozen over enough to skate on it. Snow is pretty, but in my book, slippery roads and paths are no fun at all! C
